After breakfast this morning, decided to see how the owls on 285 and Simms, were getting on. Last week the Division of Wildlife had put up barracades to stop people parking on the verge so had to park about a 1/4 mile away. I now also have a Sony/Minolta lens adaptor for my Olympus so look my 200-500 Tamron lens plus tripod. With the crop factor on the Olympus, this gives me an equivalent focal length of 400-1000mm, f5.6-f6.3. Also, because of the crop factor, I am only using the center of the lens area, I find that at full aperture the lens is still nice and sharp.
