There are a pair of Canada Geese at Junie's Lake where we had our picnic breakfast today. Ma Goose appears to be sitting on eggs while here is a shot of Pa Goose relaxing on one leg.. This Red-Winged Blackbird likes to check us out while we while we enjoy our breakfast.

Besides the dandelions and tiny pink Smooth Douglasia creeper that we have seen so far this spring, this little wild flower which resembles the Wavy-leaved Soap Plant flower is the first true wild flower that we have seen this spring.
